The Ice Cream Social was a huge success this evening with Ice Cream varieties ranging from Peach Vanilla, to Mint Chocolate Chip - with toppings such as raw chocolate sauce and frozen blackberries! A BIG THANK YOU to those of you who not only showed up, but did your raw food homework. Boone's Raw Food Community has become quite raw food savvy (which is rawsome - sorry I had to throw that in). Our next Potluck is NOT at the park near the Farmer's Market but at a FARM!!! Lee Swift has been so kind to offer her home and farm as our next potluck location. Due to her kindness and generosity I would really love to have a great showing of folks at this potluck event. This is the perfect time to make it to your first Raw Food Potluck and try out Lee's delicious, fresh from the vine Gazpacho and to check out a local farm (not to mention check out BEAUFTIL Zionville, NC - my "hometown"). I also ask that you please RSVP to this potluck event as courtesy to our dear friend Lee Swift (rsvp to holdtheheat@live.com).
